Daily Prompt

Don’t Measure Your Success

We set the bar high to achieve

We create a line for which to strive

We live in the notions of reaching goals

We make up targets, red flags, roles

She wants a size 2, you want a Mercedes

She wants a goldmine, you want a vacay spree

He lives in a small desolate town far away

He only wants small things and just be

The state of being successful is too stagnant

Fall down, get up, fall down, be patient

You don’t need a bar chart to know what’s success

Just look for the tapers not the high rise of a crescent

**This post is in response to the daily word prompt: Successful**

  1. Success looks different to everyone but you really should be true to yourself about it.
